Mike is the Chairman of the MHR Board of Directors and has served on the board for 2 years. He is from Portales and currently a farmer in Roosevelt County. Mike served his country in the US Air Force. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Angelo State and from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master’s degree from ENMU and the US Army War College. He serves on other boards such as; VFW Post 9515, ENMU Wesley Foundation, ENMU Alumni Board, and First United Methodist Church. Mike has a family member currently receiving services at Mental Health Resources.

Ron has served on the MHR Board of Directors for 8 years and is currently the Vice-Chairman. He has an Associates of Arts-Accounting Degree and is a retired Accountant. Ron is originally from Portales and served in the NM Army National Guard. To show his commitment to his community, Ron is also involved with the Roosevelt County Water Cooperative Board. Ron has had a family member receive services at Mental Health Resources.

Patti has served on the MHR Board of Directors since 2003 and serves as the current Secretary of the Board. She is a Clovis native with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. Patti is a Victim Advocate at the Ninth Judicial District Attorney’s Office. She has served as a past board member of the Oasis Children’s advocacy Center.

Edward has been on the MHR Board of Directors for 4 years and is the current Treasurer of the Board. He is From Tucumcari, NM. He is a retired veteran from the US NAVY where he served 25 years. Edward is also retired from the Head Start Program where he served 18 years. He continues to serve or has served his community by being on the Head Start Board of Directors, Everyone’s Federal Credit Union Board of Directors, President of the Saint’s Anne Catholic Church, Knight of Columbus, McMullan Board of Directors.

Andrea has served on the MHR Board of Directors for 10 years. She was born in Ann Arbor, MI but has lived in Clovis her whole life. She has a Bachelor’s in Arts and a Juris Doctor degree both from Creighton University. Andrea currently serves her community as the 9th Judicial District Attorney, Prosecutor and Adjunct Professor at Clovis Community College. Other boards she serves on are: Oasis; CCC Advisory Board; SANE/SART Committee; Quality of Life Committee; PEO Women’s organization; SAKI Statewide Board.

Joyce has served on the MHR Board of Directors for 3 years. She currently serves on the Ethics Committee for MHR. Joyce is from Tucumcari, NM and is retired. She was a Culinary Teacher and a tourist counselor for the NM Department of Tourism. Joyce has a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumers Sciences with a minor in Business. She also serves on the Quay County Arts Council. Joyce has had a family member receive services at Mental Health Resources.

Vivian has served on the MHR board of Directors for 23 years, starting in 1997. She served 11 of those years as the Secretary of the Board and the most recent 5 years as the Chairman of the Board. Vivian was born in Ft. Sumner and now resides in Clovis. She has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science and also a Master’s Degree in Education along with an ED.S in Education Administration. She is a retired teacher/principal from the Clovis School District.

Betty has served on the MHR Board of Director’s for 28 years. She is from Clovis and was a USAF military spouse. Betty has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a minor in Psychology. She is a retired Social Worker. She serves her community as a member of the NAACP and the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee.

Jennifer has served on the MHR Board of Directors for 5 years. She is a native New Mexican and works as an Agriculture Insurance Agent. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a minor in Business. She also serves on the Staff Parish Relations Committee and Administrative Council at First United Methodist Church. In her words, “My best friend was helped tremendously by MHR, her experience with their counselors was life changing and actually life-saving, I am forever grateful to Mental Health Resources”.
