Crisis Services

  • Mental health crisis evaluations and hospital-based consults are provided in emergency department settings. When mobile crisis response is needed, services are coordinated through a designated community partner. To call for a Mobile Crisis Response, call: 575-201-4357. All services are delivered or referred based on clinical need to ensure safety, stabilization, and continuity of care.
  • During regular business hours, individuals experiencing a mental health concern may come in person to any MHR office and speak with a qualified staff member. 
  • MHR provides 24/7/365 crisis coverage through a toll-free crisis line at 1-800-432-2159, offering immediate access to mental health support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This service assists individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and provides information and linkage to available services within the local community and across the state.
  • Individuals experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency are encouraged to call 1-800-432-2159 or call/text the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. If there is an immediate risk of harm to self or others, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For all non–mental health emergencies, call 911
