Vivian Trujillo - Chairwoman (Curry County)
Vivian E. Trujillo is the chairman
of the board of Mental Health Resources (MHR). She has been
a board member of Mental Health Resources since 1997 and
served as secretary of the board from 2004 to 2015. In the
past nineteen years, Vivian has attended numerous mental
health conferences at the national level. She is an advocate
of mental health and maintains that Mental Health Resources
actively engages in providing clients with quality mental
health and substance abuse services in a supportive
Mrs. Trujillo holds a B.S. degree with honors in Education and a Master of Education degree and has an Administrative Certification from Eastern New Mexico University.
In addition to serving diverse roles, she taught elementary education with extensive experience and management skills at both Bella Vista Elementary and James Bickley Elementary schools from 1978-1992. Vivian was assigned as principal at Bella Vista Elementary from 1992 until her retirement in 2002. As an educator and administrator Vivian was appointed to, served and chaired several committees. Following her retirement, Vivian also taught at Yucca Junior High, Marshall Junior High School and was an instructor at Clovis Community College.
Vivian has been married to Mario Trujillo for 48 years and together they have three children, Valerie Marshall, Dr. Melissa Trujillo Torres and Mario Trujillo, Jr.
Ron Britton - Vice Chairman (Roosevelt County)
He is a Portales, New Mexico native and graduate of Eastern New Mexico University majoring in accounting. Ron was a career accountant and had a private tax and accounting practice in Portales from 1985 until 1995. At that time he closed his practice and started to work for Mental Health Resources, Inc. as Data Director. He later became the Director of Administrative Services until he and his wife, Emma retired on April 30, 2010. Currently, he owns and operates a 100 tree pecan orchard and small hay farm west of Portales. Ron and Emma have a son, Charles, who lives in California and works for a large restaurant chain.
Patti Johnson - Secretary/Treasurer (Curry County)
Patti Johnson has been married to Brad Johnson for 26 years. She has one daughter, Brittany Johnson, who is a nurse in Amarillo, Texas. Patti grew up in Clovis, NM and graduated high school at Clovis High. She graduated college from the University of North Texas. Patti has worked in Victim Services at the Ninth Judicial District Attorney’s Office for 17 years. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys going to the lake and boating. She also enjoys golfing. She is the secretary of Mental Health Resources Board of Directors and is a board member of the Oasis Safe House Children Advocacy Center. She is also a member of PEO Chapter G.
Betty Grissom - Member (Curry County)
I was born in Watonga, Oklahoma in 1944 to the parents of Willie and Thelma Lyons. I graduated from Watonga High School in 1961 and married Thomas Grissom. I have three daughters, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. We relocated to New Mexico where my husband was stationed in the United States Air Force. In 1981, I attended Eastern New Mexico University; graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. I pursued a career in Social Work and was employed with the law offices of the Public Defender for 25 years. I am currently retired and a widow; however, I continue to serve in the community and my church. I am a member of the Mental Health Resources Board of Directors, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, and the NAACP chapter. Additionally, I attend First Church of God in Christ, while keeping Christ first in my life.

Andrea Reeb - Member (Curry County)
Graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelors in Art. Graduated from Creighton Law School in 1996. Has been a prosecutor with the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s Office for 20 year. Currently the elected District Attorney for the 9th Judicial District. Been married to the Honorable David Reeb Jr. for 20 years. They have three children, Olivia, Katie, and David..
Loretta Turnbow - Member (DeBaca County)
Loretta G. (Walker) Turnbow, born in DeBaca County. I was raised on a ranch 16 miles north of Ft. Sumner. My sisters, brother and I rode the school bus to attend Ft. Sumner schools, where I graduated. I married Earl Turnbow and together we raised three children. I was hired as Clerk Specialist and Vital Records Registrar for the DeBaca Public Health Department, State of New Mexico. Over a period of 43 years, I worked in several Public Health clinics in the state. I served as President of the American Cancer Society of DeBaca County unit for more than 35 years. In 2004, I received the Saint George National Award, the highest award given to a volunteer. In 1997 I was asked to serve as a board member for Mental Health Resources serving four New Mexico counties. As a board member, I continuously strive to seek the best mental health care for the citizens of these counties. In addition, I am active in my local church and community.
Jennifer Williams - Member (Curry County)
I was born and raised in Clovis, NM. I graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. I am the third generation to work in our family business, Williams Insurance, we specialize in Agricultural insurance. I have worked in our business for 18 years, which allowed me to work with my grandfather and now my father and my brother, who has recently opened a second office in Lubbock. In my free time, I enjoy family time, yard work and teaching Sunday school, which I have done for the past 17 years.
Danny Woodward - Member (Roosevelt County)
Danny Woodward and his wife Chris own and operate Woody’s Jewelry in Portales, NM. They have two daughters, Lindsey and Lauren. Danny received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University in 1982, received his diamond grading certificate from Gemological Institute of America in 1983, his Bench Jewelers certification from Jewelers of America in 1999. He was a founding board member of Portales Mainstreet in 1996 and served as President from 2003 until 2012. In 2005 he received Governor Richardson’s Excellence in Leadership Award from New Mexico Mainstreet. Eastern New Mexico University honored him with the Distinguished Service Award in 2010. He has served on the Mental Health Resources board since 2004.
